Hi, I’m Andrea Cerutti, a Master’s student at Politecnico di Milano. I’m passionate about artificial intelligence and open-source technologies.

This page showcases a local chatbot powered by the small but mighty Qwen2.5-0.5B model with 4-bit quantization. It's an experimental project to see how far technology can go on limited hardware.

You can download this repository to try the chatbot locally. It requires 500MB of storage. If you want you can also add different models rigourously in the `.gguf` format.

This site runs on minimalist hardware:

• OS: Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS x86_64
• Host: V1 Plus 1.0
• CPU: Intel Celeron J3455 (4) @ 2.300GHz
• GPU: Intel HD Graphics 500
• Memory: - / 3748MiB

Running AI models on this hardware is both a challenge and a testament to creativity in tech.
